My first manual, PUPPY PRIMER, What You Should Know Before You Get A Dog, is now available for purchase. Please see the contact link on the left for more information.

I am no longer involved in breeding Chesapeakes except in an advisory capacity. Tom Frew has taken over my breeding program and will strive to continue producing top quality “all-around brown dogs”. I will be devoting my time to my training business, and to writing my training manuals.
There are now two Spendthrift Kennels websites, each linking to the other. My website, www.spendthriftkennels.com, deals with information about my all-breed training business and ordering my manuals as they become available, and has a link to my all-breed discussion forums. Please visit Tom’s site at www.spendthriftkennelsll.com if you are interesting in purchasing a puppy.
I look forward to using the internet to share the training and breeding knowledge I have accumulated over the years to help folks get the most out of their relationships with their dogs. I welcome input from viewers via the contact links as to what you would like to see on the site and forums.
