FORUM INTRODUCTION

This board aims to promote one of the principle tenets upon which America was founded: free speech. The administration recognizes that dog folks can be a passionate bunch with strong opinions, and these traits can lead to spirited discussions. We encourage free expression of differing opinions, but we will not tolerate discussions degenerating into personal attacks, diatribes, or just plain nastiness. Posters are expected to behave like mature adults, and to remember that written word lacks the nuances of the spoken word, and therefore is more easily misinterpreted.

All participants are responsible for, and will be held accountable for, the content of their posts. Spendthrift Kennels, IP.board ( the forum / bulletin board ) and Unity Web Sites LLC. bear no responsibility for forum content. Posters are responsible for knowing and following board rules, and moderators will work to maintain close adherence to those rules.

BOARD RULES

This is my sandbox, therefore I make the rules, and there is only one: If I hate your post, it's gone; if you post comments that I hate to often, you're gone. Following are examples of posts I hate:

1. Legally unsubstantiated accusations. The information you posted must be available to the public, documentation must be cited. and you must sign your name to the post.

2. Anonymous negative posts; again, sign your name.

3. Posts containing URL's, solicitations, advertising, links to other sites etc. Advertising and promotion are via paid sponsorship or paid classified ads only.

4. Posts containing copyrighted photos that the poster has not paid for.

5. Posts that go way off topic; stick to the point, or take it private via the PM feature.

6. Posts which are excessively vulgar or otherwise inappropriate for polite society.

7. Posts containing whining about folks expressing opinions in a forthright manner. If you see a post that you think violates the board rules; ALERT THE MODERATOR WITH THE "GREEN REPORT BUTTON" UNDER THE POSTERS ICON OF THAT POST. The ignore function in the user control panel will allow you to turn a blind eye to posters who repeatedly offend your sensibilities. There are plenty of boards out there that are all sunshine and lollipops; I don't anticipate that this board will be one of them, it's just not my style.

Threads will remain available throughout the term of the subscription, after which they will be deleted unless the subscription is renewed within one week prior to the expiration date.

Potential subscribers are entitled to one freebie question, to be sent and answered via email.
